Check level of electrolyte after 30 minutes . Add additional electrolyte if necessary . NOTE : TIGHTEN VENT CAPS SECURELY . FUEL d . Charge battery at a rate of six amperes for one TANK hour . CAP e , Neutralize excess electrolyte for disposal by add - ! ing it to four inches of water in a five gallon plastic container . Stir with a wooden or plastic paddle while adding baking soda until the addi - tion of more soda causes no more foaming . / ( 2 .
