ASSEMBLY Your new tractor has been assembled at the factory with exception of those parts left unassembled for shipping purposes . To ensure safe and proper operation of your tractor all parts and hardware you assemble must be tightened securely . Use the correct tools as necessary to insure proper tightness . TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY WHEEL INSERT A socket wrench set will make assembly easier . Standard wrench sizes are listed . 1 / 2 HEX NUT ( 1 ) Tire pressure gauge ( 2 ) 3 / 4 " wrenches ( 1 ) Utility knife I LARGE FLAT ( 2 ) 7 / 16 " wrenches ( 1 ) 3 / 4 " socket w / drive ratchet _ . . . . - . - . NOTE : Be sure bracket tabs are positioned in tab holes in mower brackets . • Position nose roller between brackets and install rod and retainer spring . If necessary , move mower side - to - side to give space between plate and mower brackets . Have the cut area to the right of theof machine . This will result in a more even distribution clippings and more uniform cutting . • When mowing large areas , start by turning to the right so that clippings will discharge away from shrubs , fences , driveways , etc .
