Sewhandy model 40k the Right Tension A perfect seam is strong , flat and smooth . To make a perfect seam the tension on your thread must be just right . Tension is adjusted by turning the tension thumb nut . If your stitching looks like this , make it tighter by turning the tension thumb nut to the right . If your stitching looks like this , make it looser by turning the tension thumb nut to the left . When your seam looks like this , the tension is just right . 8
