WESTERN AUTO TRACTOR LIMITED WARRANTY AYP9149C79 Western Auto Supply Company warrants to the original retail purchaser that this product is free from defects in material or workmanship and agrees to repair this product free of charge within these time periods from the date of purchase : • 2 years , if the product is used for personal , family , or household use ; • 90 days , if the product is used for any other purpose such as commercial or rental use . ASSEMBLY Your new tractor has been assembled at the factory with exception of those parts left unassembled for shipping purposes . To ensure safe and proper operation of your tractor all parts and hardware you assemble must be tightened securely . Use the correct tools as necessary to insure proper tightness . TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY A socket wrench set will make assembly easier . Standard wrench sizes are listed . ASSEMBLY HOW TO SET UP YOUR TRACTOR CONNECT BATTERY ( See Figs . 2 and 3 ) SEAT PAN CAUTION : Do not short battery termi - nals by allowing a wrench or any other . object to contact both terminals at the same time . Before connecting battery , remove metal bracelets , wristwatch bands , rings , etc .
